Kokufu Ten
Winter Exhibition - Bonsai Exhibition held in Tokyo in February every year. This is the most prestigious and largest bonsai exhibition in Japan where the highest-class bonsai work gathers from the whole country.
Meifu Ten
Fall Exhibition - The Meifu-ten exhibit is normally held in Mid-January, in Nagoya Japan, but the pictures in the book are taken earlier in the fall. It is the second largest and also the second oldest public exhibition of Bonsai in Japan.
Taikan Ten
Fall Exhibition - This bonsai exhibition is held in Kyoto in late November every year.
Shohin and large to medium works are exhibited. Very luxurious book with dustcover.Gafu Ten
Winter Exhibition - This bonsai exhibition is held in Kyoto in January every year based on shohin - small works. The degree of completeness of these bonsai is superb on every tree, and the idea was elaborated also on decoration of nothing but small trees.
Sakufu Ten
Winter Exhibition - Sakufu exhibition was established for the 50th aniversary of Showa emperor. This is a collection of Bonsai from all over Japan. Held in december of every year.
Satsuki Festival
Summer Exhibition - This is the largest and finest of all the flowering satsuki azalea exhibitions in Japan. This seven-day display is held in early June in Ikenohata Park.
